“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, or loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
– Aaron Siskind
My photographs are not all perfectly framed, crisply focused, or creatively lit. But I’ve included two photo galleries in the drop-down menu in hopes that they might be an interesting glimpse into my writing and into the moments I hope to remember.
- Bicycling the East Coast Greenway is a slide show of photos from our 14-week east coast adventure. The pictures bring you along with us from Key West, Florida, the southernmost point of our country, to the little town of Calais, Maine, just south of the Canadian border. I hope you enjoy your virtual bike ride and are inspired to get out on a bike wherever you live!
- Mississippi Meanderings is a gallery of photos, chosen to supplement many of the poems from my new chapbook of the same title. You can peruse the photos to see if the subjects interest you before you choose to order the chapbook, or check out the pictures later, as or after you enjoy the poems. Use them as you wish, to help anticipate or enrich your poetry experience!
