“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, or loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
– Aaron Siskind
My photographs are not all perfectly framed, crisply focused, or creatively lit. But I’ve included two photo galleries in the drop-down menu in hopes that they might be an interesting glimpse into my writing and into the moments I hope to remember.
- Recent Favorites is a collection of photos I think you might enjoy. I’ll change the photos regularly, so they’ll always be a peek into what’s currently happening.
- Mississippi Meanderings is a more static collection, comprised of photos which accompany many of the poems from my new chapbook of the same title. You can peruse the photos to see if the subjects interest you before you choose to order the chapbook once it’s published, or check out the pictures later, as or after you enjoy the poems. Use them as you wish, to help anticipate or enrich your poetry experience!
